The West End of London is known primarily as being one of the theatre capitals of the world. The famed theatre district was even rebranded as "Theatreland" by the Westminster council and the Society of London Theatre. The district contains over forty venues packed with some of the best modern entertainment in the world. However, it is so much more than theatre. In fact, it's one of the biggest entertainment hubs in Europe. It houses the largest shopping centre in Europe and is also the home base of the film and theatre industry in the UK.
