If you end up digging Take Care better than Thank Me Later, just remember to thank The Weeknd later. According to Drizzy, the one-man wrecking machine known as The Weeknd co-wrote four songs on Take Care.

It's been three weeks since J. Cole's Roc Nation debut arrived, but it's still pretty much a Cole World out there. The 26-year old rapper lays claim to the best-selling rap album in the country for the third consecutive week. Cole World slipped six spots from #5 to #11 this week after selling 32,000 units to bring Cole's overall sales figures to 336,000. See who else is making big strides in this week's chart report below. Sales-to-date numbers in are in parentheses.
Just the other day, I was sitting here talking about how Andre 3000 rarely does guest appearances, how he now makes the news every time he does one. Then he goes and drops a verse for B.o.B. right after teaming up with Drake. Hey, I'm not saying I deserve the credit for the recent string of 3 Stacks collaborations, but wow, what a crazy coincidence.
Welcome to another episode of Rappers Behaving Badly. Today's lead actor is none other than DeAndre Way, known to you as Soulja Boy. The 21 year-old rapper was arrested in Georgia for weapons and illegal substance on Tuesday. During a routine traffic stop, cops found marijuana, pistols and cash inside his Cadillac.
While you were out doing shots or whatever you do on weekends, Drake was on SNL poking fun at himself. We've all ridiculed Drake's Cosby-esque sweaters at some point. Well, now he's getting in on the jokes. One of the digital shorts on his SNL segment was appropriately dubbed "A Matching Sweaters Interview With Drake." Not a bad idea, seeing as those Cosby sweaters or the jokes they inspire aren't going anywhere soon. Besides, there's something to be said for a rapper with a sense of humor. Kudos, Drizzy.
J. Cole lays claim to the best-selling hip-hop album in the U.S. for the second consecutive week. Cole World: The Sideline Story moved 54,000 copies this week, bringing its sales-to-date total to 272,000 units. It dropped from No. 1 to No. 5 at the end of the sales cycle.
Andre 3000 rarely does guest appearances. So rare and precious are his guest rhymes that when he does come out of hermitage to school a peer on their own song, it makes news. Case in point: Drake has been making headlines (sorry, I couldn't resist) all day because he was able to snag 3 Stacks for a song on his sophomore LP, Take Care.
I know, I know, your week is off to a shaky start. Those projects keep piling up and your boss is a certified bag of douche with no facial hair, which makes you really wish something good would just rise up outta Tunes Heaven and fill your ears right now. You've come to the right place, because as it turns out, October's Top 10 New Rap Albums list just went live. Dig in, it's sweet.
If you're an avid fan of late night teevee programming you probably saw more hip-hop than you're used to this week. J. Cole, Black Star, and others made the media rounds to promote their music last night.

Set your DVR. Black Star (Yasiin Bey and and Talib Kweli) will perform a new track, "Fix Up," Wednesday night on The Colbert Report. The duo canceled the rest of its tour for unnamed reasons. New dates will be announced soon.
